Yale King Fishing Reels

Yale Metal Products Co. King Fishing Reels - New York, NY

Yale King reels were made in the 1920's by Yale Metal Products. These were their highest quality line of reels. They also made other casting and fly reels. The Yale King reels were made of German silver and had a single ball bearing under the end cap to react the spool end play. Yale Metal Products reels was a branch factory of Pequea Works in Strasburg, PA. The Yale King reels were sold in the Pequea fishing tackle catalog. Pequea  manufactured a wide range of fishing tackle including the Harkauf Minnows. Yale Metal Products reels are considered to be one of the great New York reel makers.
